Where we work
Service areas
24 San Antonio neighbourhoods and nearby cities, from the older streets inside Loop 410 to newer subdivisions on the Hill Country edge.
Close in
Downtown, King William, Alamo Heights and Terrell Hills hold the oldest houses we work on: early 1900s through 1940s homes with additions, porches on low-slope roofs and chimneys that have been repointed more than once. Some sit in historic districts where materials need review. Castle Hills and the Medical Center area add mid-century ranch houses and apartments with flat sections.
North side and the Hill Country edge
The Dominion, Stone Oak, Encino Park, Timberwood Park, Shavano Park, Helotes, Bulverde and Boerne are where big limestone and stucco homes meet rolling ground and live oaks. Roofs are steep, cut up by dormers and valleys, and often tile or heavy architectural shingle. This is also the part of town that took the worst of the 2016 hail.
Northeast and along I-35
Windcrest, Live Oak, Universal City, Converse, Selma, Schertz and Cibolo are mostly subdivisions built from the 1970s on, with composition shingle roofs that age together. New Braunfels and Seguin mix historic downtown buildings with fast-growing neighbourhoods.
